Autumn/Winter 2013/2014 - Dresdner Spitzen

Dresdner Spitzen is equipping for the future! We renewed a part of our machinery and bought some new machines. So we can develop even more innovative laces for our customers as well as opening up to new markets.

For Winter 2013/2014 we are presenting three exclusive themes:
The theme „Visionaire“ describes the dream of a promising future. Organic shapes are interpreted in new technologies, not only based on functionality, but also in their look. We accept the challenge to combine comfort with ease. The designs are natural and futuristic at the same time. The colours are oriented by distant restraint and expressive emotions: Moonlight, Peyote, Rasperry Radiance and Bronce.

“The New Eve”, a new sophisticated Lingerie theme showing laces in the origin purpose: delicate, charming and amazingly feminine. The theme is inspired by the beauty of the 1920s shown in the movie “The Great Gatsby”. Clear as well as detailed patterns are combined with pastels shades like shy Flamingo, Lavender, Lemondrop and Glacier.

The Mystic side is shown in „Symbolism“ – a theme of dark colour shades with vibrant highlights. The mood of the theme is illustrated by the twilight in a dark forest. The designs are affected by sumptuous flowers and artful patterns. The colours range from Grapejuice, Inkwell, Sorbet and Orange Fizz.

Spring/Summer 2013 - Dresdner Spitzen

The leading themes of the new laces collection Spring/Summer 2013 span a large portfolio of design options and allow for a broad range of applications. There are three main trends to distinguish which show different styles and patterns and the respective collections offer a variety of innovative laces and lace tapes.

The first theme “delicious” is showing very delicate new laces - tender, romantic, playful and harmonious. The colour range, rather understated and subtle, is composed by powdery shades and inspiring a new boudoir look with lofty and silky applications. Delicate laces with finest floral patterns or magnificent tendrils are simply captivating.

The second topic “timeless” is creating the atmosphere of a new vintage mood – homage to the good old times that are reviving. Playful designs are reminding of porcelain plates or ancient wallpaper patterns. Memories of the childhood are evoking sentiments of happiness that are reverberated in the product. The bright, glossy red colour contrasting with the cold blue together with the rich caramel shade underlines this atmosphere.

„intense“, a fireworks of colours is making you yearn for summer, exotic animals and living in a jungle – and be it the urban jungle. The patterns are lively and expressive and underline the summer feeling. Drapes and exciting layering in the final oeuvre are reminiscent of a plumage of colourful birds. Lemon green, sun yellow and lipstick pink are the colours of the season and they create a desire for more.

Spring/Summer 2012 - Dresdner Spitzen

The leading themes of the new laces collection Spring/Summer 2012 cover a large portfolio of design options and offer a broad range of possible applications. There are three main trends to distinguish which show different styles and pattern and the respective collections offer a variety of innovative laces and lace tapes.

The first theme “Portofino dreams” presents itself with vintage sentiment and gives reminiscence to the 50th. It propagates a sense of humour and ease that is reflected in the design of the laces e.g. with elements such as the stylized starfish. The colour range is around clear but frail pastel colours from mint over azure to smoky taupe.

„Spiritual Myanmar“ is a mixture of luxury and rustic look and displays an alliance of art and nature. This 2nd theme is impressing with floral patterns, ropes of pearls on a grid-like background and organic structures. The colour spectrum is very harmonious and ranges from golden yellow over flamingo and mango up to ruby, mauve and indigo.

A delicate elegance is being displayed by the 3rd theme “Fabulous Paris”. It is attracting with a seduction of filigree laces, with subtle blossoms and extravagant patterns, a very French impression. Make-up colours are dominating, powdery tones in silver, nougat, tea rose or Picasso blue are underlining the Boudoir look, oh, là, là!

Autumn/Winter 2012 - Dresdner Spitzen
The top trends of the autumn/winter season 2012 are offering a great variety of options for design and field of application. Each of the 3 trends shows a different style and pattern and thus the collection offers an entire portfolio of beautiful and entirely new laces and lace bands.

The theme “Raw Romance” displays an alliance of art and nature. It is using the elements of the “art nouveau chic”, is playing with organic lines and blossoms and reminds of brittle porcelain dolls. Tender tendrils braid around themselves and compose new patterns that are underlining the trendy Boudoir look. The colour range of this theme is around gentle powdery tones like caramel, rosewood and jade.

“Radical Chic”, a vague notion of architectural composition, presents itself as straight, uncompromising and sophisticated, it radiates cool elegance. These are the laces for the contemporary, modern era, they reflect graphic patterns, structures resembling nets, stripes and mosaic. The colour spectrum ranges from midnight blue across inspiring grey nuances to bright red.

The third theme called “Hilarious” with extrovert, glamorous appearance shows grand entrance and true opulence. It presents patterns of high contrast and multiple colours, laces rich in detail with gleaming matt and shiny surfaces. Strong colours such as violet, shocking pink, gold and dark green are turning each woman wearing it into a star.

Spring/Summer 2011 – Dresdner Spitzen
For the spring/summer collection DRESDNER SPITZEN has assorted a mystical gallery of innovative lace and lace fabrics. In each of the four trend topics slight messages are hidden, which inspire to new designs and futuristic effects. Rustic textures, Cotton, freshness, humor and a charming "Berber" - come together in the mix on OASIS!
The impression of "semi-transparency," Energy, floral and geometric, and the influences of beachwear gives the theme Antidote.
Downright luxurious, cuddly, hand-made, high contrast and modern designs and color patterns that appear to the style TENDRESSE.
SUMLIME perfectly combines volume, structure, shapewear and lightweight lace.
The transition between opaque and transparent, and the game with matte and shiny surfaces emphasize elegance and class.
The colour scale comprises powdery tones, Cream, Hawthon Flower, Forget me Not, Lemonade, Orchidee and aquamarine, up to strong coral, Cyklam, Sailor Boy, Mascari, Erika, Poppy-Rot, Terracotta, mocca and copper tones.

Autumn/Winter 2011 – Dresdner Spitzen
For the autumn/winter collection DRESDNER SPITZEN has assorted a mystical gallery of innovative lace and lace fabrics. In each of the four trend topics slight messages are hidden, which inspire to new designs and futuristic effects.
At the same time a collection was created which combines designs from „125 Years DRESDEN LACE“!
Colours, freshness, amusing and a winning mix are presented in Doll’s House!
The topic Cottage Crafts lends the impression of the "hand-made".
Virtually luxuriously, full of contrast and modern are the designs and colour directions of the style direction Strange and Beautiful.
Soft architecture unites perfectly volume, structures and graphic aspects .
The change between Opaque and transparency and the play with matt and shining surfaces underline elegance and class. The colour scale comprises powdery tones, greige, blush, bright blue and aquamarine, up to strong coral, deep blue, olive, granat, mocca and copper tones.

Spring/Summer 2010 – Dresdner Spitzen
For the spring/summer collection DRESDNER SPITZEN has assorted a mystical gallery of innovative lace fabrics. In each of the three trend topics slight messages are hidden, which inspire to new designs and futuristic effects.
Both, charming and provocative new blossoms and artistic like handcrafted details of the theme
OH! MY DARLING. The appearance of BIZARRE BAZAR seems almost gentle, opulent, feminine and arty. EXTREME EQUILIBRIUM combines perfectly dramatic and feminine design features and hand-made effects. The opulent forms of the patterns are supported by metallic, shiny and strong colour effects.
The variation between opaque and transparent as well as soft and glossy surfaces compliments elegance and class. The colour scale comprises powdered cream and rose, cloud blue and light green, classic dark red, cardinal purple, storm , young shoot and different browns.

Winter 2010 – Dresdner Spitzen
For the autumn/winter collection DRESDNER SPITZEN has assorted a mystical gallery of innovative lace fabrics. In each of the four trend topics slight messages are hidden, which inspire to new designs and futuristic effects.
Both, charming and provocative new blossoms and artistic like handcrafted details of the theme COURTISANE MODERNES and BIO GLAMOUR.
The appearance of ESPRIT DADA seems almost gentle, opulent, feminine and arty.
FAUVE BAROQUE combines perfect dramatic , luxury and feminine design features. The opulent forms of the patterns are supported by metallic, shiny and strong colour effects.
The variation between opaque and transparent as well as soft and glossy surfaces compliments elegance and class. The colour scale comprises powdered cream, cloud blue and jasmine, classic red turquoise, violet and night blue .

On Thursday, 14 of June 2007, Dresdner Gardinen- und Spitzenmanufaktur received the certificate as one of the first Okoprofit companies in Dresden. (read more)

Summer 2008 – Dresdner Spitzen
With the new summer collection 2008 discover well-crafted designs, classical patterns with antique vibrancy, modern modifications of traditional handwork, and newly-made feathery laces.

The journey through past, present, and future shows adorning ornaments, an enchanting bouquet of floral forms and structures with graphical details. Fresh ideas find a contemporary interpretation. Innovative constructions open the view into the third dimension.

The range of colours include classical complexions supplemented by modern hues, contrasting with dusty pastels. Highlights are set by shimmery and golden nuances, that seem to be inspired by Oriental and African influences.

The new collection Fall/Winter 2007/08
The new collection builds on the contrasting themes Angélique, Demoniaque, and Insolite. This develops a mystical tension between classic and modernity, influences from handworks and patterns from the Belle Epoque. The innovative three-dimensional fabrics appear very delicate and airy.

The journey takes you into a fantastic world of fairytales. Magical easiness and mystic gravity, oriental opulence, and clear forms show kaleidoscope-like new facets. Exciting colour themes, precious material combinations, and diverse optical characteristics compose a mosaic of romantic impressions.

Look forward to elegance and extravagance, decorative lacework and functional fabrics in modern designs. The new colourful appearance shows nuances of gold and blossoms, feathery pastel, and vigorous dispositions of dark colours.

New collection Summer 2007 out now!
Following the suggestions of Interfilère the new collection Summer 2007 is presented in the trend-topics Fresh& Dynamic, Exotic Profusion, and Magnificent Nature. We offer new elastic Jacquard-laces in embroidery and weaving look, fine art-déco laces and fancy, floral designs in pastel-colours like Rubens Blush, Angel Dust, Moon Shadow, or Ice Blue. The effectual colours Nougat, Mango, Watermelon, or Violet appear in graphic patterns. Another trendy feature are the eyelash-like borders of the Chantilly-Laces.

Under the leadership of the Schröder family our company celebrates its 10th year anniversary these days. With the take over of Dresdner Spitzen in 1995 a long lasting tradition in the production of lace and lace fabrics has been continued. We look back to succesful 10 years.
